Harry,
I have one of the big dishes.....8ft.
In 10 years the only time I have ever lost reception was about 5 years ago when we actually had some decent snow down here. The snow got on the dish and prevented it from reflecting the signal. I went outside and it took me all of about 30 seconds to knock the snow off and bingo, reception was right back on. With the 4dtv, we get like a zillion channels, music and etc, etc...the digital quality is quite nice. Additionally, one thing we get via the big dish that the small one'sdon't, is wild feeds. Sports, news, oversea's and etc....watch premier shows a few days before they air to the public....The subscription prices are the cheapest. Cable is most expensive, then the small dish, then the big dish.
AOL leaps look very nice these days. Any continued downward pressure, and I will continue to buy. |
