Thanks for the explanation. Since I'm not in the technology field, it often takes me awhile to "get up to speed." It sounds like there may be a window where Lucent and CGRM have a key marketing edge, in that their VM systems are VPIM enabled currently, whereas other providers are not. Eventually, all VM will probably provide VPIM, as you noted. At that point, it seems that all VM systems will be "commodities" and "interchangeable." Agree? If so, then pricing pressures could keep a lid on the entire industry, and it sounds like there will probably be some consolidation. If the industry does become "commoditized," then it seems the big guys usually win out in these circumstances. Thoughts?
