David, i saw a Prechter estimation of 13070 points as the likely high for the Dow...and i do believe that there will be some sort of rotation. the usual procedere for late-stage bull markets is a rally in the deep cyclicals, basic materials and small cap stocks. one has to admire the tech bubble's staying power though...any thoughts on the baffling similarity between the '89 Nikkei and the '99 Naz chart patterns? as far as i can tell, the continue to track pretty well. the very first break in the Nikkei was followed by a quick rally back to a token new high...then the fun and games began.

of course, there's the not immaterial difference that in terms of p/e's the NAZ bubble is already about 2 1/2 times bigger than the Nikkei bubble ever got. :)
