dg - you wrote: "The analyst said do not buy GMGC because of terrible record, no true promise of sustainable revenue, etc. The analyst was entirely negative"
Could we have listened to the same analyst? Greg Nye, Sr. VP and Chief Technical Analyst at First Union Securities, interviewed 1/18/2000? He made absolutely NO mention of terrible record, sustainable revenues (in fact NO mention of revenues, period). And he was NOT entirely negative.. in fact,he said "there is still room to go long-term (to the low to mid teens) & that if you're on-board, stay on board, and if you're looking to buy, take a partial position in here, which fits in with our long-term strategy. Expect volatility in these shares...."
Where the heck are you comin' from, man? You have not simply mis-quoted Mr. Nye, but you have distorted beyond all recognition what he said.... to put it bluntly, dg, you LIED to this board. I can only guess at your motivation, and at whether or not it was deliberat, but you should apologize to this thread for your mis-leading statements.
Anyone interested in hearing the REAL interview, it's still there as of a few minutes ago: biz.yahoo.com
