Yes. I have it running. It's a solid Microsoft product. My experience is that it takes quite a bit more thought to design, install and administer than its predecessors. This steeper learning curve will affect the rate at which most IT shops adopt and deploy this product. Clustering is solid. Failover is faster. System software doesn't work as advertised (but works) because some documentation hasn't kept up with the delivery schedule. Active directory is adequate, and has a nice interface to import an LDAP database. There are a few extra requirements regarding DNS and where it is installed that bug me a little, but overall a solid B+ product. Microsoft still can't compete with a Sun/Oracle cluster though. Oracle parallel server on a big Sun Enterprise server is killer. Microsoft is going to have a long tough battle breaking into the ISP/ASP marketplace. We build e-commerce products for some pretty sophisticated clients. None are using MS on the server, and none intend to switch.
