Hello Allen, I've been reading the thread for a while now. I'm interested in investing in WIND. I'm not sure if this recent rally will sustain itself or not; it seemed more a broadbased tech rally and with have had several of those that never panned out.

My only concern with WIND's long term prospects are Microsoft. Unlike many, I believe Bill Gates has tremendous vision of what the future holds and so I've come to be wary of any sector he targets. Someone on the thread said even MFST's resources are limited, but $9 billion is cash is not very limiting. I think Bill Gates is interested in embedded processor OSs because he sees the day coming sooner than later, when the ubiquity of wireless, etc. bandwidth will wrap all of the processors in a home, industry, highrise, etc. into one network that will be monitored, controlled from PCs - - So he sees the need for a common GUI interface for all these processors. My fear is that this is not just a whim of his but a large part of his overall vision of where technology is taking us.

What do you think of about these things? I'm not by any means conversant in this technology so I'm a bit vague in my concerns. I guess the crux is this - I believe MFST will not abandon this sector. Given that can their products coexist with WIND in a cooperative fashion or do you think the technology is such that it will be one or the other.

By the way David Lehenky and your posts have been most informative. Thanks.
