With all due respect, I disagree.

1. If you purchase Win2000 server you must upgrade all your clients. Talk about a screw job. I just found this out and am glad I got out. This means that corporate America must not only buy a "new" OS but place it on every desktop. If they get away with this it is truly monopoly power. I do not think they will. ORCL has priced their databases to compete with NT. Definitely more reliable and scalable and they are the de-fact-o platform for e-business. I do not think Win2000 is going to do that well. All those brokerages upping their EPS and stock price are covering their but so they can sell decrease their long positions.

2. The new Crusoe chip that will compete with Intel and AMD is designed for Linux not Windows.

All, IMO, Bob.
