MS: Netscape does hold a competitive advantage... Short term advantage due to their strategy to give away or nearly give away their browsers. This has stimulated and some will say revolutionized the whole www. Because they were the first to distribute a good browser they have captured the initial market. However, as you point out there are hungry wolves on the tail of NSCP. The big boys are arriving in droves. A year from now MSFT will have browser capability integrated into all of their software. In addition server providers are a dime a dozen, to paraphrase your highly competitive markets comment.
