Hello gemsearcher:

Did you know that Michael Scott and Associates (MSA) is involved in Messina with SUF?

This is from the MSA website (http://icon.co.za/~gulag/projects.htm)

"Following on from the success stories of the now operating Klipspringer and Marsfontein diamond mines, another potentially lucrative MSA project is about to be brought to account. Messina Platinum Mine, a mothballed platinum mine in the Potgietersrus limb of the Bushveld Complex of South Africa was promoted to SouthernEra Resources by MSA in late 1996. This project is now in the feasibility
stage and looks set to go into production in 2001.
MSA has long been an established and well respected contract exploration outfit, operating within and outside the boarders of South Africa. With the successes of the Marsfontein and Klipspringer projects and the potential success of the Messina project, MSA has now undertaken to make its database of other exciting projects available to potential clients.
The quality of MSA projects is highlighted by the fact that two of the projects are now operating mines, with Marsfontein being described as the most profitable mining operation in the world today.
The Messina project was introduced to SouthernEra Resources in late 1996 where MSA was commissioned to undertake a first pass study of the potential mineral resource, dilution and recovery parameters. This process showed that Messina had economic potential and pre-feasibility study was undertaken. MSA, by virtue of the agreed terms and conditions, retains a participation and was guaranteed all geological work up to the end of the feasibility stage. Prefeasibility and the continuing feasibility study indicate an IRR in excess of 20%. Messina will be acquired by SouthernEra in January 2000, contingent to a positive feasibility study."

Regards. Goalie.
