Stevie Wonder,

As PB said, you got our congratulations on the AMD thread. I believe a strong AMD is good for the industry and ultimately good for Intel.

So tell me something, was AMD capacity constrained? We know that Intel could have sold many more chips. How many of AMD's sales were second choices, because the OEM's and end users couldn't get Intel?

A rising tide lifts all boats. AMD has demonstrated that they can turn a rare profit when Intel can't meet demand and the demand is unprecedented. Intel has demonstrated that it can make huge profits when AMD is bleeding money. You can deceive yourself that this is a seachange, I expect history will repeat itself.

When I go to the AMD thread, I am polite and encouraging. You come here and you are rude and disparage a company that we respect. You seem to be more against Intel than you are for AMD. What does that say about you?

I have a lot more respect for AMD than I do for some of it's investors.

John
