Millstream Mines Ltd.: Zone 220 Metres Wide To 710
Vertical Metre Depth : Intermittent Sulphide
Mineralization : East Blue Sky Area; Potter Mine
Property, Timmins : Matheson Area N. Ontario

TORONTO, ONTARIO--Millstream Mines Ltd. announces the exploration
results of its initial deep drilling of the geophysical anomalous
areas, located East of the mine shaft. These areas have similar
geophysic signatures in which massive sulphide
(copper-zinc-cobalt) mineralization has been drill confirmed in
the past mine area. To date, the company, in the East target
areas, has deepened one (1) drill hole S97-07 (ext), and drilled
two (2) additional holes S99-06 and S99-07 in this exciting
program.

Holes S99-07 and hole S97-07 extension X section

Hole S99-07 was drilled from the South. Hole S97-07 (ext.) was
drilled from the North. Both holes were drilled on grid line
5+25W, and crossed each other at 430 vertical meters below
surface. The weak sulphide (Po+Cpy+ZnS) disseminated and fracture
style mineralization was intersected in each hole at various
vertical depths establishing a continuous zone. This discovered
zone containing remobilized sulphide mineralization averages 220
meters wide down to 710 vertical meters below surface and remains
open at depth. Detailed logging of the drill core has been done
with samples to be cut and sent for assay. Drilling of the next
hole is ongoing.

Hole S99-06 (4+50W, 0+00S, Az 169, dip - 60) was targeted to test
Quantec's geophysic Real Section I.P. strong anomalous zone
centered on grid line 4+50W at a vertical depth of 700 to 900
meters below surface. The drill hole scheduled for 1100 meters
drill length was stopped at 642.5 meters downhole due to overall
deterioration of ground conditions with depth. The target is now
planned to be tested from a south drill setup in the near future.
The hole intersected the favourable volcanic stratigraphy with
traces to weak disseminated sulphide and fracture style
mineralization appearing between 529 to 534 meters downhole.

Hole S99-07 (5+25W, 9+10S, Az360, dip-60) was targeted to test
Quantec's geophysic Real Section I.P. anomalous zone centered on
grid line 5+25W at a vertical depth of 500 to 600 meters below
surface, and underneath currently deepened drill hole S97-07 (PR
November 10/99). The hole was drilled 1018.7 meters and
intersected 677 meters of weak intermittent sulphide (Po + Cpy +
ZnS) disseminated and fracture style mineralization from 240
meters to 917 meters downhole.

Ernest Harrison, President of Millstream, said, "the exploration
results continue to be extremely encouraging. We do not in this
area of our property have underground workings to assist us, thus
it is necessary to build a data bank with drill holes.
Confirmation of the favourable volcanic stratigraphy and the
correct type of remobilized sulphide mineralization, similar to
what is seen in the Potter Mine area, as stated by Consultant
geologist, David Gamble "may represent structural remobilized
leakage from a potential sulphide source at depth", in this area."

The principal objective of Millstream Mines Ltd. is to enhance and
develop known mineral properties to production potential.
