Two years from right now or two years from when it comes out? Either way sounds very aggressive. Barrett or Grove went on record that IA-64 and IA-32 would coexist for ten years, I think it was. Assumption then is that 32 bit goes away. Also, the high power (watts), and cost of Itanium probably keeps it in servers and workstations for a good while. Further, available software can't ramp up immediately.

We can only wait and see who is right.
