To all true Techriders:
1) I am very serious about putting this board to sleep. It is no big deal, I've put a few boards down (boy did that piss off AOL). The board was started for a reason and we seem to be getting further from that reason.
2) When I put the board to sleep I want to put the name "Techride" to sleep also. Techride is a very lucky name as many of you know. I made the name up several years ago to name a portfolio and since then it has brought everyone who has touched it luck.
3) I own techride.com as well as techride.net and techride.org I'm going to sell them to the highest bidder as well as domains I have for other forms of business (medicine, real estate, etc).
At one time I was going to develop Techride.com for Joan and I had some good ideas for it. But now, with short, easy to remember.com names selling for big bucks, I may pass the luck of Techride on (to someone out to make some green).

4) Regarding SI: To be honest for the reward, posting on SI Techride is no longer worth the risk. I get nothing for posting other than knowing I've helped a few friends. For each friend I've helped, I've got nasty e-mail or "lessons" from people I don't know. Then there is always the getting sued part. There are plenty of sue happy people out there.
I have no complaints about my life but I've seen a few hard times and I like to keep any hard times from happening when I can. So the million dollar question regarding SI Techride: Is it worth the trouble? No, most times, No.

5) Having a voice. I wanted a voice after seeing all the bull "experts" put out on CNBC, etc. I think we all know now that with DD, WE are the pros, that's what I really wanted to show people. If there is an expert out there who can beat my in print picks and market calls please make yourself known...............silence. I have nothing to prove and since I'm not paid, I shall go.

6) Friends. I have made some good friends here and on other places on the internet and will miss many of you. I wish there were more people like you. I don't care for goodbye, so I don't say it.

7) Out of respect for Russell Horowitz, Bryan, Jeff and others I will not post the reason why I can no longer be a part of SI's product (content). If Russell, Dino or Bryan would like to know "why?", I'll be glad to tell them (and them only), they have my home number.
