Dan3 <Intel's ASP falling from $210 to $150>

I doubt Intel will be this responsive to AMD's lower Athlon prices. The entrance of Athlon in the high-end (desktop) makes Intel's expansion into the server market all the more important.

Not to offend the Intel supporters, but with a net margin of 25% won't a more than 25% drop in ASP result in lower earnings unless there is a large increase in volumes or a shift to a higher portion of server level products? Given current businesses, AMD's business appears profitable with a much lower ASP.
