Funny you should mention that, again. The January 24th issue of Business Week reports on the best and worst boards in America. On the list of the best.....you guessed it, Intel is ranked 6th. Intel was mentioned in the body of the article as a perennial winner.
As for the worst......you're way ahead of me, AMD was 21st on a list of 25, one space ahead of Occidental Petroleum, (remember them, they lost many dozens of employees in the North-Sea Glomar Explorer tragedy eons ago and never looked back). AMD was mentioned in the body of the article as a perennial loser. GE was tops and Disney was worst.
While none of this mattered today, as a long term investor, it re-enforces one of the reasons why I choose Intel as a long term hold. The more things change the more they stay the same.
