Judy,

If you would like to get information on the trials you can access GTE web site : gte.com, right after use their own search engine for ADSL and you will find some information (from the start in February with Westell and someone else), then in April they invited Amati... They have a special web site for the ADSL trials wcn.gte.com where you can access even draft papers submitted to the IEEE Comittee (though Technical). I had just a quick look and didn't see anything startling... In fact I never visited GTE site, your question prompted a quick look, yielding no hot new information so far.

Anyway AMTX, WSTL and SHVA were strong today... with INTC (I heard of that MMX too) and MSFT. So you should benefir the Put sale on AMTX.

I think the $90 level showed a somewhat strong support for USRX. It went below only one or two days no further than the next step at $87 1/2.

After the trader's dip this am PAIR performed a nice comeback close to yesterday's close @ $114 1/4.

Again as I said earlier the yield on the long bond went still up ~7.17% that erased earlier gains on the Dow, though the NASDAQ posted gains following the Book-to-Bill story.

MO (Philip Morris) was the strongest of the Dow. I believe this one to be a typical 'Defensive stock'. It's moving past the $100 fast. PER is low (though they have still some potential problems with tobacco trials)... I don't remember well who here promoted this one ? John I believe.

Another well known defensive is Mac Donald's (MCD) up as well by $1/2. May be an ugly sign (short term) that all these defensives are doing well while the others are drifting when they don't get hammered... [just a thought]. Otherwise the 'quality semi' was doing fine (i.e. not the 'commodity play' like Micron (MU)).

Can you give me again your 'list of stocks'. I don't remember them... and it's far away here.
