Dave, I have doubts that the Mongolian Mafia will let MGR/TDC reap the benefits of Bumbat even if the gold price turned up dramatically. With no Rule Of Law, Mongolia seems to be in the same category as Indonesia was with Suharto, i.e. at the whim of the persons in power. So, sadly, the US$10M put up by MGR investors for the Bumbat Mill seems to be another giveaway to corrupt foreign interests. And sadly for Mongolians, resource investors in the West will have learned from MGR's bitter experience -- and though the POG/POS may blossom at some point down the road I wonder if Mongolia will see any of it! Anyway, MGR and its investors took a chance on Mongolia -- and is paying the price. Probably other foreign resource companies are also paying the price for taking a chance on that corner of the World!!
