They pride themselves on managing expectations and never letting the stock get over-hyped. Speaking as one who is now holding worthless Jan calls, I can't say I agree with that statement!<<

Bill what the CFO at Microsoft did was just plain stupid and inexcusable. This is not a good time for Microsoft to be playing games. From all the Microsoft shareholders I talked to there are nothing but pissed off stock holders who feel that Microsoft stuck its foot in its mouth and screwed the shareholders. The last thing Microsoft needs to do is to enraged shareholders. The fact that IBM, Apple and even AOL can report mediocre earnings in contrast to Microsoft and yet their stock is on a big rally adds flame to the blunder of Microsoft. I for one am pissed off as hell and have sent my comments to Microsoft's Public Relations Dept.
