delivery of 12 automatic metro cars, including an option for a
further 12 vehicles. The contract has a value of some Cdn $41.7

Thames, including Greenwich and the historic Cutty Sark.

The new vehicles will be built by Bombardier Transportation in
Belgium. The first vehicle will be delivered in September 2001.

Bombardier Transportation, a world leader in the manufacturing of
passenger rail cars, offers a full range of urban, suburban and
intercity vehicles as well as complete rail transit systems
worldwide. It also manufactures freight cars and provides

aerospace, rail transportation equipment, recreational products
and financial services. It operates plants in 12 countries in
North America, Europe and Asia, and more than 90 % of its revenues
are generated outside Canada. Bombardier's revenues for its
