Exactis.com Named to Denver Rocky Mountain News' '20 Colorado Companies to Watch'
DENVER, Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Exactis.com Inc. (Nasdaq: XACT - news), a leading provider of permission-based precision e-mail marketing and communications outsourcing solutions, announced it has been named to the Denver Rocky Mountain News' ''20 Colorado Companies to Watch.'' The competitive list features promising companies that are making a significant impact on Colorado's economy.

''Each year, the Denver Rocky Mountain News business section chooses 'Companies To Watch' in the coming year. Each reporter chooses two,'' said Rob Reuteman, business editor at the Denver Rocky Mountain News. ''It's a fairly subjective list, but I ask my reporters to pick companies that appear to be poised to do great things in the coming months. And, we let our readers know about them.''

In 1999, Exactis.com posted a list of accomplishments that propelled the company to a new level of success. The company started out the year with 26 clients, a list that has grown to 97 as of today. Exactis.com raised $8.8 million in private financing in August and then completed a successful public offering in November, raising an additional $53 million.

''It is quite an honor for Exactis.com to be among the '20 Colorado Companies to Watch,''' said Tom Detmer, president and CEO of Exactis.com. ''With Colorado becoming a center for telecom and Internet leaders, it is great to be seen among the top performers in the state. We appreciate being recognized by the Denver Rocky Mountain News and look forward to continued success in 2000.''

In addition to its client list and financial growth, Exactis.com made significant progress in further growing the scalability and reliability of its industry-leading e-mail engine. In November, the company's e-mail engine sent out more than 15 million messages in a single day for the first time and more than 200 million messages during the month. And, over the course of 1999, Exactis.com signed many new national and international clients, including World Wrestling Federation, USATODAY.com, Lastminute.com and FT.com.
