The winners will be the ones that are most open and have the best features, price, and support. I do not see it as a "comodity" market. I see VM along the same lines as NW server's. Very few companies look for the cheapest NW servers. THey want performance (premium hdw and SW), open system, features, support and reliability. Tremendous opportunity for fast moving companies. Some of the VM dinosaurs, on the other hand, could be in big trouble.
