Anybody on this thread familiar with Newmont can comment on the rumor (broker), that Newmont was actively interested in acquiring properties in Tanzania through two Canadian juniors (Northern Mining (MDN on TSE) and Pangea Goldfields (PGD on TSE)? They seemed specially interested in the Tulawaka property jointly owned by the two companies. I tried to get Newmont to comment with no success (as expected).
