Full Systray ... Right click each icon, select properties, and see if you have the option of disabling it. Others are more challenging. Example: Start, Control Panel, Multimedia, Audio tab, and you'll see a box to uncheck labeled 'Show volume on taskbar' to get rid of the yellow speaker. You can use System Configuration Utility, Start-up tab and uncheck plenty of programs which start automatically. Load Tweak-UI from your Win98 CD for more control over this type of stuff.
