News a feew days ago..I wont mention this one again..either you are in or not.. NEEDHAM, Mass. (Dow Jones)--Avant Immunotherapeutics Inc. (AVAN) received a $6 million payment from Novartis Pharma AG (Z.NOV) in connection with the license of a product that reduces immune-system rejections of transplanted organs. In a press release Thursday, Avant said it agreed on an option to license the product, TP10, in 1997. The license agreement provides for an additional $14 million in milestone payments, as well as royalties on product sales.
