Anitech Signs Letter Of Intent With
Distributor For Mexico And Quebec
TORONTO, ONTARIO--Anitech has signed a Letter of Intent with Riopel Industries Inc. Upon
finalization of the Distribution Agreement, Riopel will be Anitech's sales agent for Anitech's DT-500
Data Collection computer system and Anitech's PG-100 Electronic Pork Grader in Quebec and
Mexico. Riopel, based in Quebec, is an international force in the design, production and installation
of equipment for the meat packing industry. In addition, to their close working relationships with
meat plants across Quebec, Riopel has been very successful in Mexico.
Anitech is a global leader in data collection for the animal industry. Anitech's DT-500 system is a
proprietary computer hardware and software system that enables meat packers to maintain
production records on individual carcasses. DT-500 systems are operating at plants owned by
Maple Leaf Meats and Schneider Meats and, the Ontario Pork Producers Marketing Board
recently ordered systems for 4 plants. The PG-100 Electronic Grader is used to electronically
grade pork carcasses.
