Maybe it's worth raising a stink.

Every IPO has "friend of the company" shares reserved and it would be a simple matter for the underwriters to allocate a portion of those shares to existing Phoenix shareholders.

I'm not a Phoenix shareholder and I never purchase shares of any company at higher than the IPO price, but I'd be willing to buy InSilicon at the offering price. Given the large amount of info we've disseminated here over the years, I think we qualify as "friends of the company".

I don't have any proof, but I'll bet my agitation for an InSilicon IPO over the past couple of years was a factor in their decisions to seperate the company and take it public, although employee motivation is much more important.
