It is increasingly difficult for CSCO to predict earnings until the end of the quarter. I think the quarter end is this Sunday.

I do know that some Customer Service people are working overtime and in shifts to get orders in. So, I expect them to make a push to .51 cents but fall short by a about a cent or two.

For the first time I have also heard top management complain that they are concerned about the stock price since employees are more willing to consider opportunities outside (read startup's). CSCO always pays 85% of industry standard in wages since they figure you'll make the money in the stock options they give you anyway. Now that 15% is fast vanishing. Not a good sign, for the short term.
