grayhairs: I've read your posts on KOB thread
with great appreciation. If your engineering background equips you to comment upon the logistics of valuing (i.e., quantifying and producing) gold such as we see reported here, I would welcome your comments. What is the way to be early, as a speculator, in roughly figuring the likely cost of making a mine out of even these rich veins, or comparing the economics of these veins to something like Franco-Nevada's Midas mine?

I suppose it is far too early to know whether the holes reported suggest a mine can profitably be made, but in any event I'd love to know why you think this play is worth your dollars (if it is!). Unlike GSJB JV, the gold won't come up on its own upon invitation from a drill bit, and a lot of dirt and rock would have to be displaced to mine deep veins. I know it's done all the time, deeper by far, as in SAF. What metrics do you use to compare vein systems? TIA
