All you wireless fans, hands up those who knew Hedy LaMarr was a spread spectrum pioneer, holder of a 1948 patent on frequency hopping used in all sorts of wireless technologies today! I just found this out myself, a good reminder people often have many other dimensions than we give them credit for... WUWT
