Quintek System Selected By Boeing Company
CAMARILLO, Calif., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Quintek Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: QTEK - news) today announced an order for aperture card imaging equipment from Boeing Company (NYSE: BA - news), located in Seattle, Washington. The Quintek system will provide Boeing with an automated means to produce high quality aperture card media in a chemical-free environment. The aperture cards will be used to supplement Boeing's existing database and create a permanent (100 year) record of online digital drawings. Additional orders for equipment, media, software, and services are expected in the near future, as Boeing proceeds with integration and use of the Quintek system.

The Boeing Company supplies a wide range of aerospace products through three principal segments; Commercial, Military, and Space & Communications. Products include; commercial airliners, helicopters, cargo aircraft, military aircraft, missiles, space systems, missile defense systems, satellite launching vehicles, rocket engines, and battle management systems. Some related projects include; the International Space Station, E-3 AWACS, 767 AWACS and the Delta II space launcher.

Quintek supplies chemical-free equipment, software, media, and services used to preserve digital data and insure against information loss due to catastrophic events, computer virus, technology obsolescence, equipment failure, media degradation, change in formatting standards, and software incompatibility.

Quintek is headquartered in Camarillo, California, with Sales and Marketing based in Washington DC, manufacturing in Karlskoga Sweden, and Engineering/Customer Support in Montpelier, Idaho. Existing customers include; TRW, Caltrans, US Navy, Lockheed-Martin, Dresser Industries, Zenith, NASA, Aramco, Smith Industries, Baltimore Gas & Electric, Duke Energy Whirlpool, Lufkin Industries, Canadian Government, among others.
