I totally empathize with your move today. I'm in the same boat. I've been thinking about selling some out-of-the-money calls against my long position. Did you consider that? If you have a Jun 115, you could sell a Mar 250 for like 20 or so and keep that if the stock drops back.

Not a bad idea. I don't generally do spreads. I have most of my $$$ in long term shares (if buying 6 months ago is long term). I'm now a Prisoner of Profits! Can't sell because of the taxes, not that I want to. I keep a small portion of $$$ short term to see if I can time the market. I keep it simple by just buying calls -- usually far out and in-the-money. I'm trying to be more patient and find the bottoms. Am expecting a dismal Feb.
