Microsoft Issues 70-Page Response to Judge in Antitrust Case nytimes.com

Yeah, I remember Kempin's little escapade, though I don't know if it showed up beyond the Register. But never mind, here's the canonical NYT coverage of the latest "Microsoft response". A bit drier than the Register's coverage, but amusing in its own way.

Sailing against a fierce head wind, Microsoft delivered the legal arguments today that it hoped would stave off an adverse antitrust ruling, taking issue with a judge's conclusions about the case and restating many arguments that he has already rejected.

Yeah, yeah. Just keep telling the judge he's stupid, always a sound legal tactic.
