I share this concern to a very small extent. But to put it in perspective, 300ku inventory isn't much especially if you consider that AMD had several problems in Q4 that probably made a mighty difficult for them to plan (IBM announcing pulling out of retail, NEC problems, motherboard supply problems, FIC motherboards not working above 650 for a period of time, and all the other assorted motherboard/OEM stories that we have heard).

AMD paid pretty high penalty (lots of lost Christmas sales) by not getting the Athlon motherboard issues out of the way in Q2/Q3.
