Roth says SNB only has small window to sell gold and can't wait Zurich--Jan 20--Swiss National Bank Vice President Jean-Pierre Roth said Thursday the National Bank only had a small window of opportunity for the planned sale of 1,300 tonnes of gold reserves, and couldn't afford to wait too long. Roth wouldn't say when the planned sales would begin, but said the legal framework allowing the sales would be in place by end-March. (Story .20758)
