John et al,

I've been in touch today with the most highly recommended partnership law attorney in the area today, who is reviewing the issues in our agreement. I should know the scoop in 24 hours. It may or may not be necessary to remove certain of the subjects on which limited partners can vote to retain their limited partner status.

I was informed that adding the witness line to the signature block adds double protection in being assured that the person signing the document is indeed that person. This is found on most official legal documents like real estate deeds and trusts, but is not absolutely necessary in our agreeement to have a legally binding document. But it is a good idea to have it, just as it's a good idea to drive with seat belts, so I'll add it in if I need to make the other modification anyway.

Regards,

David

P.S. This delay should have no impact on our time table, and I need to hear from any other general partner nominees by midnight tonight.
