webmethods is the engine of XML-enabled e-commerce.

Re: domains owned by webmethods. thanks for pointing that out, paul. darn good domain. and, as you remember from my post on the thcg board...

...i tend to get curious about domain-name issues. So, here's what I dug up. webmethods owns a lot of domains, including:

XML-ECOMMERCE.COM XMLB2B.COM XMLCOMMERCE.COM WEBAUTOMATION.COM B2BI.COM

In fact, as you mentioned, B2B.com belongs to webmethods, though domain search-engine queries get truncated after 50 results and B2B.com (and even webmethods.com) didn't come up in the top 50 results, so they must have a ton of domain names (at least 50 of 'em).

I've always said that XML may come last alphabetically in a jargon dictionary...but in any guide to B2B, XML should be the first entry. And when it comes to B2B and XML, webmethods seems to have all the bases covered.

PS I just got another messg from someone telling me to keep my mouth shut about FBR.com :)
