Yes, I liked that "breakaway year" statement, too. I also thought the part about 30,000+ employees was interesting, and that Sun staffs to support the sales it makes -- manufacturing is the easy part +/- compared to training newbies in the Sun culture.

It sounds like HP will be the next SGI. Pretty good press for EMC, though.

Backlog up despite a record quarter bodes well for the future.
