Hey Bill....

You're the one who said he was at the top of his class. Now you've already retracted. I never placed him anywhere. I just heard he had a so-so academic record. You have the burden of proof on this issue.

Now I can also do a bit of dredging on Silverado to substantiate my statements.
Kind of tired right now physically and of the zealotry, so I'm going to take a break from the thread after this post, and may not get back for awhile.

Regarding the drug "thang", personally I don't care what little George or any other politician did 25 years ago in college. I just found it amusing to see him bob and weave on the issue, rather than answer the cocaine issue definitively 'no'. His wavering gave the impression that there were others who would contradict a 'no' assertion, and then, little George would be branded a liar like slick Willy. Such branding probably would be worse that the supposed illicit activity.

Speaking of equivocation, though, that was quite a number he did on the South Carolina flag. Both Bush and McCain were spineless on that issue. Deferring, as he did, was demonstrative of who he's beholden to rather than what he believes.

Have a good night.
