Mike, << we agree that ACT! hasn't tried to sell the enterprise-wide software that Siebel sells >> Yes. Siebel is multi platform and can be implemented top down. Works in the enterprise. ACT! has been DOS/WIN oriented only(95/98/NT). << Moore wrote that the mid-tier front office software market will be of sufficient size and different enough from the top-tier market that it merits thinking of it as a completely separate Gorilla Game >> Siebel working down. ACT! (SalesLogix) working up. They meet in the middle tier? ... but the NEW game is on the web. I do not know this for a fact, but I intuit it. - Eric -
