The prospect of a national data CLEC, or DLEC, talking with @home has been on my mind for quite some time, too. I can see a COVD or RTHM coming way down on pricing (as opposed to their higher so-ho/telecommuting rates they now charge in spotty situations) if they had sufficient scale to deliver on.
Or, given the time home has until the terminations begin to kick in, they may even form a DLEC operation of their own. On a resale basis, they would only have to push paper. Like some of the other nationals do, for the majority of their serving coverage. Having said that, it would be a departure from pure, nonetheless. Go Rab(b)it, Go. |
