Cheer up! In case we forget who holds the patents of substance:

A friend of mine told me to do myself a favor when we were discussing the
ericy suit. So I did and I liked what I found. Go to the following:
patents.cnidr.org
It is a Boolean search of US patents. in the first do cdma in the
second field qualcomm. Look at the number of patents and
look at the references. Make sure you specify year 76-97.
Do the same with CDMA and Ericsson. Again look at the
references.

Funny thing will start to appear with Ericsson patents.
A awful lot of them rely on Viterbi and other members of
QCOM such as Guilhuasen. Notice how QCOM's don't rely on
Ericsson but the US governments patents. Funny how that works.
Take another note it's usually Ercisson-GE.

Might help us decide for ourselves what might be the truth. Hang tough.
