I have heard that Motorola is challenging Q's patents and/or claims in the U.S. (just what others have said) but I haven't followed up on it. Honestly, what do you think Motorolas chances are of getting so many of Qualcomm's patents and/or claims declared invalid that it damages Q's IPR position?

Maybe I'm just becoming complacent but it seems like Q's IPR and their technology has been attacked constantly for the last few years and the key patents keep holding up. Maybe Motorola is trying to position themselves better for the future or win a small concession from Q to get MOT off their back?

If you learn anything let us know but I must confess, I don't read this thread anymore, just over here checking out all the brew-ha-ha. It would seem the catalyst for Mq's suspension was his (playful) threat to sue SI? I'm sure SI blames it on another post though.
