The time premium on derivatives is your friend. Those Black-Scholes Guys were the advisors to that hedge fund that almost went under a couple of years ago. Greenspan rescued them. So I guess that no one who gets too greedy is immune from the long term probabilities. Moderation in expectations may be a useful attitude. <G>. Perhaps I ought to write fortune cookies... Tokyo closed down 900 yen and Frankfurt is also down a tiny bit at the open. I'd guess that we are near a bottom here.
