Dear JC: Twisters post was discussed by SUNW and his reasoning is entirely false. There are several reasons the operating profit didnt increase percentage wise even more. One was they wanted linear growth (? term) meaning no sales slowdown related to Y2K and they offered incentives. Turns out they didnt need them but it was already done. Second, they are plowing a great deal of money into the infrastructure to move to THE NEXT LEVEL (I am including R&D in that term). Finally, they had the merger with Forte and likely there were a lot of associated soft costs written off in this qtr. I predict their NEXT QTR will show incredible increased profitablility. JDN
