The panicky sellers heading for the exits might push it down to the low 50's/high 40's shortly after opening, after which the bargain hunters will rush in. You're right, this could be a nice buying opportunity BUT trying to pick a bottom is always dicey! The telecomms on the European markets took a drubbing today which is probably (somewhat) related to their reaction to LU's under-reporting... GOOD LUCK w/ your "bottom fishing"
