Hi Paul:

Something to think about as we begin the year 2000:

What we have in Q1 2000 is precisely the flip side of Q1 1999, only with roles reversed, with Outel now chasing AMD for microprocessor supremacy and as a result suffering similar-type production problems...A stripped down Athlon is about to give the Celeron a severe test in the low end and at the same time a beefed up Athlon will increase market share in the top end (i.e. PWeeIII cannot keep pace!) as well as make inroads into the server/workstation market segments, that last bastion of Outel's sacred territory in the microprocessor marketplace!

The Q4 $0.43 you just saw is just a fleeting glimpse of what you can expect in Y2000...Hey Paul, looks like AMD's 2000 eps will be greater than Outel's! What do you think the chances are of that occurring, huh Paul?
