With Etrade you down load the trade right into the reg. if you own a stock for longer then three months, you have to enter the trade manually, but after you get them all in, it's very easy to handle it all, the hard thing are splits even that is easy, the program cal. the cost bases for you. I just started using Quicken again, I hated entering all the info. before but now it is a snap. If one trades as often as I do, entering 400+ items at tax time is NO FUN AT ALL, next year it will be a little to no hassle at all. Greg
