Marie: one of your points needs clarification. The man(Keith Evans)who was responsible for bringing DMS technology to SLIC did not "leave;" he was according to the company "fired" for cause. SLIC retained the rights to the patent. Keith Evans has been replaced. SLIC says the MBE/DMS system is working well. They are of the opinion that stepping up to a multilevel oven would not present a signicant problem. And TOBY I'll remind you that knowing so much as you do about laser diodes in no way qualifies you to advise others on investing in the companies that produce them. I suspect that you have lost quite a bit of money on SDLI. You should confine your comments to the science aspect of each company. Otherwise you may find yourself responsible for others losing money as well.
