Joseph, I looked at the intraday chart and it sure looks as you said: someone created a dip to 49 so the big 600k sh order could be filled cheap. I assume it was a buy order, because right afterwards, the price rose again. Best way to see this is a 1-minute chart. fast.quote.com If this long URL doesn't work, just go to fast.quote.com type AMAT and click on the 1-minute chart option. Regards Gottfried PS: if the SEC needs more money for investigating shady practices, I'm all for it. BTW, I've noticed that sometimes URLs in these posts don't become clickable right away.
