He thinks the optical business production excuse (he meant for LU) is good enough to pull them through the quarter just past, but that they can't keep using the same excuse next quarter and thereafter. It has to be very painful for the inventors of the optical computer to have to admit that Nortel Networks (NYSE:NT - news) and a host of other players have grabbed the optical field from under their very noses.
